Birdwatching at Amungen, Sweden

Amungen is a mountain-adjacent lake in northwestern Gävleborg with a rich birdlife. Black-throated Loon breeds in the lake's calm bays, and Bar-tailed Godwit breeds in the surrounding mires. Rough-legged Buzzard can be seen regularly, and Red-throated Loon can be heard on summer nights.
