Birdwatching at Borrevannet, Norway

Borrevannet is a 4.5-kilometre-long lake in Horten where the water, the shore zones and the wetland at Vassbånn are protected as a nature reserve of 2,160 decares. Around 256 bird species have been recorded, of which 110 are breeding, with up to 30 pairs of Great Crested Grebe in the southern part and Ospreys fishing here.
