The protected landscape stretches from Andabeløy at the mouth of the fjord along Hidra and the coastal strip to Åna-Sira, covering 54 square kilometres of magnificent fjord landscape, heather moorland and steep skerries. The birdlife is diverse, with White-tailed Eagle, Common Eider and cormorants along the coast. The area was protected in 2005.
