The Lesser White-fronted Goose's call is a shrill, squeaky and fairly bright "klju-ju", noticeably brighter and more piping than the coarser cackling of the Greater White-fronted Goose. This difference in voice is a useful aid to identification when Lesser White-fronted Geese are resting together with other geese.
