Finjasjön is one of Skåne's largest lakes (10.4 km²), just north of central Hässleholm. Great Crested Grebe breeds among the reedbeds, and Western Marsh Harrier is seen regularly. Common Tern is seen in summer, and Eurasian Coot and Greylag Goose are present throughout the season. There is a bird tower at the northern end and an accessible platform ("Slingra dig") at Mölleröd.
