Birdwatching at Haparanda skärgård, Sweden

The Haparanda archipelago is one of the Bottenviken's richest bird areas, on the border with Finland. Long-tailed Duck and Velvet Scoter stage in large flocks in spring and autumn. Common Eider breed and White-tailed Eagle are seen regularly. One of Sweden's northernmost coastal sites.
