Birdwatching at Hjälmarens södra strand, Sweden

The southern shoreline of Lake Hjälmaren offers fantastic birdwatching in spring and autumn. Bean Goose and Whooper Swan stage in large flocks during March and April. White-tailed Eagle is seen regularly and Greylag Goose breeds in the reed beds along the shore.
