Birdwatching at Ismantorpskogen, Sweden

Ismantorpskogen on central Öland is a well-preserved woodland landscape with old trees and open heath, part of the Ismantorp nature reserve and known for the Ismantorp hillfort. European Honey Buzzard is seen during the May migration, and European Nightjar can be heard on summer nights. Woodlark sings in the open areas, and Black Woodpecker breeds in the older trees.
