Kvismaren bird lake in Örebro is one of central Sweden's finest waters for birds and is known for its ringing station, which has been gathering data since the 1960s. The shallow waters and shore meadows attract Northern Shoveler, Ruff and Black-tailed Godwit, and Western Marsh Harrier breeds here regularly. Kvismaren is easy to visit, with good hides and marked paths throughout the season.
