Neptuni åkrar is a magnificent shingle field (a fossil beach of rolled stones) with parallel shore ridges in northern Öland, near Byxelkrok. Pallid Harrier is a sought-after rarity that is occasionally seen during the summer months. Ortolan Bunting sings in the bushes of the farmland and Tawny Pipit breeds on the open ground.
