Birdwatching at Roma kloster, Sweden

The Roma monastery ruin is one of Gotland's finest sites for songbirds. Thrush Nightingale sings in the deciduous woodland around the ruin and Common Rosefinch is seen regularly. Golden Oriole is seen in the treetops and Common Whitethroat sings in the scrub. A gem of cultural history with a rich birdlife.
