Roxen is one of Östergötland's largest lakes and an important staging site for Whooper Swan and Greylag Goose. White-tailed Eagle is seen regularly and Great Crested Grebe breeds in the reed beds. The lake is crossed by the Göta Canal and offers beautiful scenery.
