Torhamns udde is one of Sweden's classic migration sites and offers outstanding autumn birdwatching. Honey Buzzard and Common Buzzard are seen in numbers in May, and Northern Wheatear in large numbers on autumn passage. Waders and seabirds are seen regularly. The nature reserve's regulations prohibit landing on, and staying within 50 metres of, the islands of Båtaskär and Hammaröra from 1 April to 15 July.
