Birdwatching at Umedeltat, Sweden

Umedeltat, just outside Umeå, is a rich wetland system at the mouth of the Ume River, adjacent to the largest farmland in upper Norrland (the Degernäs and Röbäck plains). Little Gull breeds in colonies and Ruffs lek on the shallow shore meadows during May and June.
