Flying insects: Almost exclusively – flies and mosquitoes (Diptera), beetles and hymenopterans are taken in low aerial hunting; it prefers to hunt close to the ground and over water surfaces.
Aphids and spiders: Taken as a supplement, sometimes picked from vegetation.
