Breeding season: April to July, usually 1-2 broods a year. - Nest: An exceptionally well-built, cup-shaped nest of moss, lichen and spider silk, lined with hair and feathers; camouflaged with flakes of lichen on the outside; placed in a fork of a tree 1-10 m up. - Eggs: 4-5 eggs, blue-green with red-brown markings; incubation 11-13 days. - Young: Both parents feed the young on insects; the young leave the nest after 11-18 days.
