White-tailed Eagle: Song & calls
The White-tailed Eagle's call is characteristic and is often heard at the nest:
- A clattering "klick-klick-klick" or "kli-kli-kli-kli" — high, hard and rhythmic sequences of notes.
- Laughing call at the nest: a repeated "klä-klä-klä" recalling a large gull.
- Begging call from the young: a whining "psii-psii".
The White-tailed Eagle is rarely heard outside the breeding season. Recordings can be found on xeno-canto.
