Whooper Swan: Song & calls
- Call: a deep, bugling "hoo-hoo hoo-hoo" or "hong-hong" — a unique trumpet tone. Heard at 2–4 km distance.
- In flight: the wings produce a whirring sound; flocks call continuously.
- Young: light, piping calls.
Recordings are available on xeno-canto and Artportalen (the Swedish species observation system).
