Björklingefjärden is a shallow lake bay northwest of Uppsala with a rich birdlife. Greylag Geese breed in the reedbeds, and Whooper Swan stops over during the spring migration. Western Marsh Harrier can be seen daily, and Eurasian Bittern can be heard in spring.
