Birdwatching at Åsnen, Sweden

Åsnen is a lake district in southern Sweden with just over 1,000 islands and one of the country's finest areas for White-tailed Eagle. White-tailed Eagle breeds here and is seen regularly, and Osprey is common. Black-throated Loon and Red-throated Loon breed in the sheltered bays, and Whooper Swan stops off during the spring migration. Åsnen has been a national park since 2018.
