Isabelline Wheatear: Breeding

The Isabelline Wheatear does not breed in Sweden. On its regular breeding grounds in Asia and south-eastern Europe the species nests in cavities in the ground, often in abandoned rodent burrows, on open and dry ground. The birds seen in Sweden are vagrant visitors outside the breeding season.
