Marsh Tit: Diet

In summer the Marsh Tit lives on insects, larvae and spiders picked from the foliage and shrub layer. In autumn and winter it switches to seeds and nuts, and like several other tits it hoards food by hiding seeds in bark crevices and moss to retrieve them later.
