The Taiga Bean Goose has a deep, cackling call, often rendered as "ang-ang-ang". The call is darker and less whining than the Greylag Goose's and is often heard from migrating and resting flocks, especially in the mornings and evenings when the birds move between roosting places and feeding fields.
