Yellow-browed Warbler: Breeding

The Yellow-browed Warbler does not breed in Sweden. On its breeding grounds in the Siberian taiga it builds a domed, oven-shaped nest placed on or near the ground, often well hidden under tussocks or in low undergrowth. The female lays a clutch of several eggs, and the young grow quickly during the short, intense subarctic summer before autumn migration begins.
