Eurasian Sparrowhawk: Breeding

The Eurasian Sparrowhawk builds a new stick nest each year, usually in a spruce at a height of 8–15 metres. The female normally lays 4–6 eggs and incubates for just over a month while the male hunts and provides her with food. The young leave the nest after not quite a month.
