Breeding season: April to July, usually 2 broods a year. - Nest: A cup-shaped nest of twigs, moss and roots, lined with hair and feathers; placed in a dense bush or conifer 1-5 metres above the ground. - Eggs: 4-6 eggs, blue-white with red-brown markings; incubation 13-14 days. - Young: The young are fed by both parents and leave the nest after 13-16 days; they can fly a short distance soon after but the parents keep feeding them for a further 1-2 weeks.
